Here we are testing our mushroom kits. In these pictures we used a 1/4″ hole for the mushrooms to grow out of. As we did have mushrooms grow out of the holes they are to small and allowed a lot of growth inside the bottle.
In our next round of testing, we have increased the size of the growth holes to 3/4″. We hope to see much more growth from the holes and less in the bottles. We are also using colored bottles which will limit inside growth.
Our wine bottle mushroom kits are currently offer a tasty blue Oyster mushroom.
